I know. Kind of an intense way to start the chapter.
But what can we take from this? We never had a straight answer on Kellen's opinion of Rain. Is it better than Aiken's or worse? And what about Aiken now? Is he really okay with Rain now, or are things still potentially messy there?
And most importantly: what about Rain herself? Even if they were apologetic and being totally accepting, would Rain be so willing to let them back into her life so soon? If her siblings do as the cookie suggests, how well do you think things would go right now?
